Waipu Highland Games
Bunch of Bloody Tossers!!
Every New Years day for over 100 years the community of Scottish descendents in Waipu have held their annual Highland Games. Apparently its one of the biggest outside of Scotland and includes Hammer throwing through to Kaber tossing.

Hey cameron,
I just saw a travel channel show about the Highland Games, and one of the men tossed the host of the show like a caber. It was funny. Speaking of traveling, I was thinking of studying abroad in the autumn (semester 2) and am most likely going to go to Australia, but was also considering NZ and Scotland. You're the only person I know from the Southern Hemisphere, so do you have any recommendations on what uni to go to or even what city? Thanks!
