North Island Champs - trailer Yachts

Last Weekend several boats from Evans bay went to Lake Taupo to race in the Nth Island champs. Unfortunately "Stinger" (the boat I'm on) had some bad luck and made a couple of mistakes which put us out of the running.

There was a serious lack of wind which really frustrated the hell out of everyone involved but we had a great time regardless.

Wellington based crew (Evans Bay) on "Black Mamba" a gazelle took out line honors and over all in our division with "seadate" a young 66, also Evans bay based, taking 2nd place.

As they say...... Next time :)
